Musical Interlude

this post is dedicated to my friend who got bitten by her dog... pls try not to kick the dog every time this happens. im sure it aint good for the animal's mental health, no matter how much better you feel after that. good training and handling should be able to remove the dog's undesirable habits lah, not sure what kicking it will do tho. maybe make it bite more? haiz...

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

Bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens

Brown paper packages tied up with string,

These are a few of my favorite things.
Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudel,

Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings,

These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses and blue satin sashes,

Snow-flakes that stay on my nose and eye-lashes,

Silver white win-ters that melt into spring,

These are a few of my favorite things,

When the dog bites,

When the bee stings,

When I'm feeling sad,

I simply remember my favorite things,
